About Noha Asem
Noha Asem is a staff member of Public Health and Community Medicine department, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University. She has done with her MD degree in Public Health and Community Medicine in 2015. She is also a certified international trainer in research Ethics from University of Maryland Baltimore. Over the past eight years, she served as coordinator and member of the IRB of Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University. She also served as a member of the national IRB, Ministry of Health and Population 2015-2017. Dr Asem used to engage in many research planning, implementation and evaluation activities, she worked as a statistician and as data manager for different research activities either at local or international levels. As a staff member in Community medicine department, Dr Asem used to train undergraduate and postgraduate students on responsible conduct of scientifically valid and ethical research; Plan for and conduct hospital as well as community based structured interviews and surveys to apply basic research methodology and medical statistics; Interpret , analyze and prioritize community health problems using data and indicators. She has been research, monitoring and evaluation consultant for many national and international health projects.
