Dear MERETI Members:
As some of you know, the PRIM&R (Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research) Organization (www.primr.org) has played a key role in training activities and policy formation regarding research ethics. Many of you have attended their yearly conferences and have received travel scholarships to attend their conferences (this year in San Diego, Calif. 6-8 Dec. 2010). PRIM&R also contributed funding to the Cairo Forum in August 2008. In their efforts to reach out to the international world, they are making available to the MERETI Network several of their educational opportunities, which will be part of the reward system that Isabelle has mentioned in a previous post. These will consist of access to their internet archives and conference proceedings, access to live webinars, access to their online course for ethics committee members, and their international PRIM&R membership. I hope you will have a chance to make use of such educational opportunities.
